Partner with God

Everyday as I speak to people and as I hear stories of Jesus changing people I am amazed at the way it happens so uniquely and
in such detail with such love. It really seems God REALLY loves us and cares for us.
I am amazed at how He leads us, how He prunes, and cuts off the things that don't bear fruit.
God is constantly at work, in my life and Im learning that He has been at work in every person I meet too!
Im beginning to see that as I pray He really does prepare good works and people's hearts before I ever meet them.

I feel God is saying to us to see how He has been working in all creation, in all people, christian or not so that when we meet and
befriend people we actually partner with God in what He is already doing in them rather than try to push God on them. - He is already at work right there in front of us!
And our role changes to seeing where to join the conversation out of love and compassion they are already having inside.

I met with a muslim man last week, a wonderful,tender hearted and funny man, who shared his faith with me and I shared mine with him.
The moment we said goodbye I felt an overwhelming love for this man and I blessed him and prayed for him on the spot.
I felt as though God had already opened this mans heart and I just simply was in the right place at the right time to put words to him about forgiveness, God dying in my place and loving us and those things his heart was already hungry for, already prepared for and receptive to.

I might never meet that man again, but I have done my part. Those words will never leave his life.

May the creative all seeing Father of creation open our eyes to see His hand at work everywhere and may we join Him in His work of reconnecting a lost world to Him.
