  • 7 ways to make mums feel special this Mothers' Day

Mothers are such remarkable people. As a child, it seemed they were capable of doing everything at once: fixing every problem, curing every ailment, making our favourite meals, and always looking beautiful.

As children, we so often take our mothers for granted. Sometimes it's not until we become parents ourselves that we really appreciate the hard work, love and commitment our mothers showed to us.

We've gathered some memories about mothers, and some ideas for showing appreciation to mums this Mothers' Day.

  • Two special offers for Mothers Day - 14 March

Following on from last year’s very popular Mothers' Day offer, this year we have a double special offer for Mothers' Day on 14 March.

    1. Buy 'The Sixty Minute Mother' and get 'The Sixty Second Mother' FREE.
    2. Buy 'How to be an "Amazing Mum" When You Just Don't Have the Time' and get 'The Sixty Second Mother' FREE.

Packed with quotations and snippets, Dianne Parsons' little book of bite-sized wisdom, 'The Sixty Second Mother', is an ideal accompaniment to these two great books – and a wonderful gift for Mothers' Day.

"Fish finger sandwiches could be the key to family harmony"

In his new book, The Sixty Minute Family, Rob Parsons writes that family meal times are key to closer family relationships. "Families spend less time together than they did twenty-five years ago," says Rob. "Busy lifestyles, long working hours, after school clubs and weekend children's activities all contribute to a disconnected family life."

Rob is encouraging parents to start a routine of at least one family meal together a week – whether that's a full roast dinner or fish finger sandwiches.
